And the Winner is........

Throughout the 2010 year MAA members have been given a ticket into a drawing for a .60 size Great Planes Reactor Bipe every time they show up an event and participate.  This included meetings, work parties, and flyins.  There were very few people who attended every meeting, or attended every event, or attended almost every work party.  However one young person has been at every meeting for the past year, and attended every club event, and has worked at most work parties -- and many times when there was no "party".  It's somehow satisfying that this person had their ticket drawn to be the winner of the $300 Reactor ARF.  He's also the youngest member of the club, and the new club secretary.  Danny Page's name was drawn by his father.  Lest anyone suspect a palmed ticket -- let me remind you that the ARF needs over $400 in servos, motor, ESC and receiver before it's airworthy and 14 year old Danny Page is hoping  Santa Claus has him on his nice list because all of his spare time is spent working as a high school student.

It's worth noting to be historically accurate and give appropriate credit that the MAA club originally came into possession of this ARF when it was donated by Hobby Town and after being won by Boyd Pettty it was donated back to the club.  It's also worth noting that Paula Reynolds and Camille Page worked all year to keep track of participation and give tickets where tickets were due.

Many thanks to Hobby Town, Boyd Petty, Paula Reynolds, Camille Page, and everybody that helps with work party's, fun fly's, IMAC, and is involved making this club the best and most friendly club in the NorthWest.
